This website acts as a companion (and, tentatively, something more) for the "A Guide to Kernel Exploitation: Attacking the Core" book ( amazon, book publisher).

Besides all the source code and links/documentation associated to the various chapters of the book (check the Codes/Extra section), we try here to keep a door open on the evolution of both attacks and countermeasures at kernel level. This effort starts in the form of a Blog, but, once again, we are up to a somehow new experience and we are literally learning day by day the best way to provide the material (honestly, it's sort of a success that proper punctuation and not just a ";" to terminate each line is used...).

Comments, ideas, suggestions and whatnot are all welcome. We try to keep up to date with the Errata page as mistakes and refuses are found and just copying the approach the TAOSSA (Kudos!) authors took, we leave open a section for suggestions and ideas.

For anything, feel free to contact us at attackingthecore at gmail dot com.
